Racine Garden Club members have been digging up plants, cleaning out their
garages, gathering garden books, multiple plant stands, and pots. Dropping them off at a designated pick-up location Between Mid-April to the end of May. Susan picked everything up on May 27th. We couldn't believe we were able to load the whole shebang into her SUV! With help from LeRoy, we stuffed books, plants and more into every nook and cranny in that vehicle. Garden items were collected for Habitat for Humanity in Milwaukee where the plants and other items will be disbursed to approximately 240 new homeowners. Susan says everything donated goes to anew home & grateful family. A Huge thank you to our Racine Garden Club members who participated in and supported this project in conjunction with the MDGC of which our club is a member. |
